We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Finance Administrator to optimise our financial management procedures. As Finance Administrator, you are responsible for financial administration of SONI, and your duties include managing financial and accounting processes such as: Data entry across our financial and administrative systems. Providing administration support across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed assets, Treasury, procurement and other accounting functions. Preparation of basic account reconciliations, weekly and monthly reports for month-end files. Provide analysis and commentary on weekly and monthly reports variances. Managing queries on invoicing, receipts and payments for customers and suppliers. Process accounts and follow-up with clients and suppliers as and when needed. Feed into Internal and External Audit queries and requirements. Organise, file and archive reports and supporting documentation. Identify opportunities for process improvement and increase efficiency across the Finance team. Prioritise workload within the Finance team to ensure effective time management. Maintain and apply formal procedures to all aspects of business activity and contribute proactively to the growth and development of the company. Fully participate in learning and development opportunities and performance management processes. Complete ad hoc financial administration requirements and requests for management information. Any other reasonable duties as many be required from time to time. Essential Criteria GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above in or equivalent qualification. Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong interpersonal skills and able to work as part of a team. Right to work in the UK. Desirable Criteria Previous experience in a finance and/or regulated environment. Previous administrative experience. Experience of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
