The Role:
Royal High Bath is looking for a conscientious and reliable Caretaker to join our Estates team on a full-time basis.
As a Caretaker, you will oversee the provision of an efficient, effective site and facilities service, to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for staff, students and visitors. Working under the direction of the Facilities Manager, you will assume responsibility for the maintenance of the fabric, fixtures and facilities of all the School’s properties and grounds. You will maintain exemplary and consistent standards of maintenance, presentation and the provision of a first-class facilities service.
You will need previous experience of painting and decorating, as well as experience of maintenance tasks, including changing light bulbs, minor repairs, small fixtures and fittings, plumbing and occasional grounds work. You will also need knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements and routine preventative maintenance.
This is a full-time role for 36 hours per week. These hours will be initially based at our Senior School site; however, you may also be required to work at the Prep School site from time to time. Both sites are situated in Bath.
