Role Context:
Provides execution strategy guidance and direction for large and complex projects and proposals. Review and contribute to front-end studies and engineering packages to ensure implementation of safe, efficient and winning execution strategy and support pull through to execute strategy. Provides consistent, sustainable and effective management directions for all the projects within the portfolio to ensure proper project delivery, expected financial performance, and client satisfaction. This role can be based in any of our offices across the UK.
You'll be/do:
1. Manage projects and contracts with the ability to proactively influence successful performance.
2. Regular and successful implementation of company management systems.
3. Supervise, coach and support Project Managers/Engineers within the portfolio to ensure proper project performance including HSSE, quality, commercial, change management, schedule, client satisfaction and risk management.
4. Ensure regular project communication, reporting and reviews.
5. Ensure and support the growing capability of our employees in project management and project engineering.
6. Engage in strategy, key accounts, pursuits and proposals for business.
7. Ensure portfolio growth year on year.
You'll have:
1. Experience in managing the execution of large and complex projects in EPC/EPCM scheme and complex contract model.
2. Experience of project estimating and proposal execution, including lump sum environment.
3. Strong technical competency, knowledge of regulations, codes, standards and company management systems.
4. Good commercial acumen and experience in all commercial contracting models/risk profiles and project scopes/phases (FEL/EPC/EPCM & Lump Sum/Fixed Price/Target Price/Reimbursable, etc).
5. Motivational leadership style and strong communication skills with the ability to develop a high-performance culture.
6. Ability to mitigate risks effectively through positive decision making.
