General Overview: InCrowd is seeking a Senior Director to join InCrowd’s full service quantitative team - EU. This is a senior position within our client services organization and is primarily responsible for oversight of a portfolio of client accounts in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and life sciences industries. As Team Lead, you will supervise and enforce best practices to a team of researchers in the execution of discrete primary market research projects. You will lead discussions along with our Head of Client Services on account strategy, with an eye towards growth opportunities. In partnership with Sales/Business development group, you will be responsible for engaging with clients and driving repeat business. You will be accountable for ensuring revenue targets are successfully reached within your territory. In addition, you will be critical in managing and developing the junior staff within your team, leading training efforts and being accountable for team development plans. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Management and staffing of accounts within territory Oversight of research process and lifecycle as it is executed by junior staff Own research planning across account, delegating executional responsibilities to staff effectively Stepping in and managing project execution as needed Participate in strategic account-level planning with internal team (business development, Head of CS, and VP Methodology), driving account engagement and utilization efforts Engage on a regular basis with current clients, preventing account dormancy, and plotting a path for account growth along with sales/business development team Accountability for annual revenue goals within territory Own planning against yearly revenue goals, developing individual team member goals to ensure financial goals are reached Lead client discussions with business development to uncover key business opportunities and to discuss research capabilities/benefit of working with InCrowd with minimal to no oversight Supporting training of junior/incoming staff Serve as point of escalation within account team for cross functional groups Effectively manage monthly revenue of up to $100k Qualifications: Educational / Technical 15 years of experience delivering primary market research to pharmaceutical and biotech clients or proven track record of superior research delivery with fewer years of experience Bachelor's degree in social sciences or life sciences; advance degree is a plus Must have prior experience managing teams of researchers Must be a technophile and comfortable with new ways in executing market research; Experience executing MR in non-traditional ways is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel and PowerPoint Ability to travel to client meetings and conferences as needed Required Skills: Ability to design, author, execute, and interpret findings from primary market research focused on supporting drug and medical device manufacturers business needs, including large-scale, multi-approach/modality research projects Able to manage large-scale, strategic projects that ladder up to core business decisions for clients Thorough understanding of the life sciences stakeholder groups including HCPs, Patients, Pharmacists, and Payers.
