This role reports into the Project Engineering Lead for Sonar 2150 UK with the Head of Systems Engineering as their functional Line Manager and will work closely within the Sonar 2150 Engineering team. The role has joint ownership of assigned systems activities for the UK Sonar 2150 program that forms the foundation to our export Sonar 2150 systems under contract. The role offers an opportunity for an individual to grow as part of a proud close-knit team working on one of the most important and pivotal projects within the business.

* An appreciation of complex systems design – ideally with experience of long service life’s in harsh environments.
* Experience of working throughout the entire design lifecycle.
* This role requires eligibility for Security Check (SC) clearance.
We have three sites: Greenford, Loudwater and Weymouth. This is a hybrid role giving you the flexibility to balance working from home and being on-site as necessary, with occasional UK travel. To be successful in the is role you are likely to need to be regularly on site at Weymouth e.g. a couple of days per week to engage with the team.
There will be a two-stage interview process. The first will be an informal video call with the Head of Systems Engineering, and the second will be an on-site interview with the S2150 Project Engineering Lead, and Programme Manager. The first will explore functional suitability and cover business/strategic fit and the second will focus more on suitability for the specific project vacancy and project team fit.
