Are you a skilled Site Manager looking to take on a pivotal role in a major joint venture within the water industry? Our client, a collaboration between two leading engineering contractors, is seeking a Site Manager to oversee key projects across the Thames Water region. This role offers the chance to work on critical water infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring that all water infrastructure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.
2. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth project progression and timely completion.
3. Oversee health and safety compliance, ensuring all site activities adhere to safety regulations and best practices.
4. Monitor site progress, ensuring work is carried out to the highest quality standards, within budget, and according to schedule.
5. Manage site logistics, including materials, labour, and equipment, to optimise project efficiency.
6. Provide leadership and direction to on-site teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all stakeholders.
7. Prepare site reports, progress updates, and documentation for senior management and clients.
Requirements:
8. Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally within the water sector or related industries.
9. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and drive project success.
10. Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations, with a track record of ensuring site compliance.
11. Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple sites or projects concurrently.
12. Familiarity with water infrastructure projects and the Thames Water Framework is highly desirable.
13. Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, or project management (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS).
