Health & Safety Coordinator - Part Time
£27,500 per annum pro rata
Monday - Wednesday 08:00 - 17:00, 25.5 hours per week
My client is a renowned manufacturing business based in Blaenavon who due to increased productivity require a NEBOSH Qualified Part Time Health & Safety Coordinator. To be considered for this role you will need to have experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for the Health, Safety & Welfare of Employees.
Managing & Updating the Company's general Health & Safety in the Workplace on a day-to day basis, incl. Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments, Fire Safety, etc.
Carrying out H&S housekeeping inspections
Updating H&S policies and procedures
Document and investigate all accidents/investigations.
Deliver toolbox talks on health and safety issues to all levels.
Maintaining the H&S management system
Advising Managers, Foremen and Employees on current Health & Safety Legislation.
Skills, Qualifications and experience required
Excellent communication skills and the ability to use all Microsoft Office packages is essential.
Approachable, very 'hands on' and must be comfortable in spending time on the shop floor.
A calm, assertive and firm attitude is vital with the ability to work under pressure and without direct supervision.
