Key Responsibilities: Support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), providing tailored assistance to help them achieve their full potential. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to deliver personalized learning plans and strategies. Help foster an inclusive learning environment, ensuring that all students feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. Encourage independent learning through the use of differentiated instruction and resources that cater to the specific needs of each student. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and offering suggestions to enhance their educational experience. Support students with a range of additional needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Dyslexia, ADHD, and other developmental needs. Implement positive behaviour strategies to support social and emotional development, building self-esteem, resilience, and social skills.What We Are Looking For: A recent graduate with a degree in Education, Psychology, Special Educational Needs, or a related field. A passion for working with children and a deep understanding of the importance of inclusive education and individualized support. The ability to apply evidence-based strategies to support students' learning and emotional wellbeing. Strong communication skills and the ability to form positive, empathetic relationships with students, staff, and families. Patience, adaptability, and a growth mindset, with the ability to reflect on practice and develop new skills. An understanding of SEND frameworks, and ideally some experience or knowledge of working with students with a range of learning disabilities.Why Join Us?
