Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CDP to join our culinary team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with the ability to prepare high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
As a CDP, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests.
Duties
1. Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
2. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality.
3. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
4. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
5. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
6. Follow all health and safety regulations while handling food and kitchen equipment.
7. Help train new kitchen staff in meal preparation techniques and kitchen protocols.
Skills
1. Proficient in meal preparation techniques with a strong culinary background.
2. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
3. Experience in food preparation within a restaurant or kitchen setting is highly desirable.
4. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
5. Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
6. A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to help others in the kitchen.
