Job Title: Deputy Manager Childrens EBD Home Location: Haringey, London N17 Salary: £40k Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Hours: Monday Friday including on call rota About Us: We are a well-established residential childrens home located in Bruce Grove, London, providing care and support for young people aged 817 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). Our focus is on delivering trauma-informed, child-centred care that promotes stability, development, and positive outcomes. We are now seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home and lead our dedicated team. The Role: As Deputy Manager, you will play a key leadership role, ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and well-being for our young people. Youll act as a role model for staff, support the development of the team, and contribute to the strategic and operational management of the home. Key Responsibilities: Support the Registered Manager in the leadership and management of the home. Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and Childrens Homes Regulations 2015. Develop, implement, and monitor individual care plans. Provide supervision, mentoring, and training for care staff. Support the emotional and behavioural development of the young people. Promote a nurturing, therapeutic environment that meets each childs unique needs. Assist in preparing the home for inspections and audits. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years experience working in a childrens residential setting. At least 1 year in a supervisory or senior role. Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Level 5 Leadership and Management desirable or willingness to work towards. Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and trauma-informed care. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
