As a people partner you will provide a key interface between the People team and the designated global client group to embed a strategic approach to people management. You will be working in partnership with managers and employees to provide professional, customer focused, commercially-informed People Management advice and solutions that support and build organisational and people capabilities. This role will have a strong talent focus, helping to design and build on work already done to ensure AHK has a global talent and leadership development approach that is clearly focused on bringing the right talent through at the right time. You will deliver the A-Z of ‘People’ support but you will have a large support infrastructure to work alongside and support you. To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following: REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE Required Competencies Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present clear, well-structured reports and briefs. Confident presenter with the ability to influence at a senior level. ‘Right first time’ approach, completes work to a high standard, continually looking for improvements and strong problem-solvers, high level of attention to detail is key within this role. Required Work Experience Demonstrable track record of progression within a relevant People function in a complex/matrix structure, preferably a Global company. Demonstrable experience of working in a complex People function at ‘Generalist/People Advisor’ level or equivalent Proven experience working with business leaders on strategic workforce planning and talent development. Demonstrable experience of managing projects and delivering successful outcomes Demonstrable experience of developing innovative approaches to complex problems Demonstrable experience of supporting complex ER cases Required Qualifications Education: BA / BSc Degree in HR, business or psychology Minimum CIPD Level 5 in HR Required Languages Languages: A second language is desirable.
