Due to ongoing successful development and exciting projects, an established and successful engineering company based in Derby (Derbyshire), leaders in the industry of Advanced Security Technologies, are now hiring for a brand new Embedded Developer to join the expert team and develop world-class products using the latest cutting-edge technologies.
Work from Home Policy:
The salary on offer for the successful Embedded Developer is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum. 5 days working onsite is preferred, but 1 day WFH is available.
About the Role:
The successful Embedded Developer will be responsible for Embedded C and C++ programming, which includes designing, developing, coding, testing, and debugging from concept through to manufacturing for products and technology. Additionally, the Embedded Developer's work will involve Hardware Development for PCB and FPGA Design.
Key Skills:
1. 1-3 years minimum industry experience
2. Understanding of developing for embedded platforms and environments
3. Embedded Software Programming in C, C++
4. Experience with microcontrollers and microprocessors
5. Network interface protocols - SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485, Ethernet, TCP/IP
6. Hardware & PCB Design - Would be an advantage
7. Experience with Altium would be an advantage
8. Experience in FPGA Design - Would be an advantage
9. Good and strong diagnostic skills
10. Interest in learning and applying new technologies and techniques
