An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a brand-new clinic in St Albans. The search is on for a passionate and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a dedicated and dynamic team. Your Role
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will deliver exceptional care to patients while supporting the veterinary team in a variety of responsibilities, including:
1. Anaesthesia Management: Monitoring anaesthetics and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
2. Clinical Documentation: Maintaining precise and thorough patient notes.
3. Treatment Delivery: Administering treatments as instructed by veterinarians.
4. Client Communication: Providing updates to pet owners with clarity and compassion.
5. Hygiene Standards: Keeping surgical rooms and equipment to the highest standards of cleanliness.
6. Veterinary Assistance: Supporting during both routine and advanced procedures.
7. Animal Care: Quickly attending to the needs of any unsettled or distressed patients.
8. Stock Oversight: Monitoring and replenishing clinical supplies.
9. Pet Owner Support: Offering guidance on pet care, from routine advice to specialised tips.

The Ideal Candidate
1. Experience: A proven background in veterinary nursing, including nurse consults, GA monitoring, and surgical assistance.
2. Qualifications: A Veterinary Nursing Degree (or equivalent) and RCVS registration.
3. Teamwork: A collaborative and adaptable approach to working within a supportive team.
4. Compassion and Care: A commitment to providing exceptional service to patients and their owners.
