This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative environment where creativity meets practicality, and every day brings a new challenge What You’ll Be Doing: As our NPD Technologist, you’ll play a key role in supporting the development and launch of innovative food products. Your responsibilities will include: Key Accountabilities: Sample Coordination: Organizing and distributing sample requests. Preparing and packing samples, ensuring a smooth workflow in our kitchen. Managing stock rotation of ingredients and samples. Concept Development: Supporting the development of creative and commercially viable food concepts. Ensuring compliance with customer and brand guidelines. Completing costings and assisting with customer submission forms. Process Development: Supporting factory trials and gathering data for post-trial reports. Helping to complete product files and ensuring accurate data is shared. Customer Collaboration: Building strong relationships with internal and external customers. Staying informed on customer expectations and communicating them effectively to the team. Teamwork: Supporting team members and contributing to cross-functional collaboration. Helping maintain a clean and hygienic workspace while living our company values. What You’ll Need: Education & Experience: A food-related degree with basic culinary skills. At least 1 year of product development experience, ideally in chilled product development. A proven track record of delivering commercially viable products on time. Basic financial understanding and strong organizational skills. Key Skills & Characteristics: Creative thinker with a passion for food. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Enthusiastic, flexible, and positive attitude. A full driving license and willingness to travel to various sites, including overnight stays. Desirable Qualities: Experience in cross-functional collaboration. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deliver consistent results. Role Conditions: This role is primarily office-based but will involve working in chilled factory and kitchen environments. Travel to supplier sites, customer locations, and comparative shopping will also be required. What can we offer you?
