What it's like to work here As Cycle Hire Supervisor you’ll be working with a small team of staff and you may supervise a team of volunteers. You will report to the Cycle Hire Manager. This is an active outdoors role, which does require a level of fitness due to manoeuvring of bicycles, cycling, boat handling and you will be required to work in all weathers. What you'll be doing Day to day you’ll be helping as many people as possible engage with the outdoors. You will manage the on-site cycle hire operation to ensure the cycles and other hired equipment are in full working order, maintained and repaired to a high standard. In promoting cycling, you will be involved with the development of cycling incentives to support cycling activities on the reserve and lead our led cycle rides. The boat trips run from March to November, which you will help to deliver as a boat driver along with a team of volunteer boat drivers. You’ll use your excellent customer service to answer questions and provide information so our visitors can access our cycling and boat trip offer and have the best experience.
