Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering training programmes for clients in South Yorkshire and Bristol.
Training Areas Include:
* Banksman training
* First Aid
* Face fit testing
* Fire Marshall
* Level 2 & 3 Fabrication & Welding
The role involves developing training materials, conducting training sessions, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver training programs
* Create comprehensive training materials and courses
* Conduct engaging and effective training sessions for our clients’ employees at various skill levels
* Ensure all training programs meet industry standards and safety regulations
* Identify training needs through assessments, surveys, and employee feedback
* Continuously improve training programs based on evaluation results and industry advancements
* Maintain accurate records of all training activities, including attendance and assessment results
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
* Offer additional support and coaching as needed
* Stay updated on the latest industry trends and best practices in training and development
Qualifications (Preferred)
* Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or willing to work towards this)
* RTITB Qualified Fork Lift Truck Instructor (or similar)
* RTITB Banksman Trained Instructor (or similar)
* First Aid At Work (FAW) Certificate
* HABC Recognised Instructor (or similar)
* Level 2 Fire Safety Awareness (HABC, Qualsafe or FAIB Recognised)
* NEBOSH or Fit2Fit Face Fit accredited Tester
* Level 3 Qualifications in Welding or substantial experience at a similar level
Skills
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Strong organisational and time-management abilities
* Ability to adapt training materials to various learning styles and levels of experience
* Proficiency in using training software and tools
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in training and development, preferably in a similar industry. Proven track record of successfully delivering similar training. Must have a full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Work Environment
* Primarily office-based at our offices in Barnsley with occasional travel to various client locations as required
* Compliance with all safety and health regulations in the training environment
