Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role involves heavy lifting, materials handling, and operating warehouse management systems to maintain optimal stock levels.
Duties
1. Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring safe handling of materials.
2. Operate forklifts and other machinery to transport products within the warehouse.
3. Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently.
4. Maintain an organised stock area, ensuring that all items are stored correctly and inventory is up to date.
5. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
6. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper mechanical function and report any issues.
7. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
1. Experience working in a warehouse environment is essential.
2. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift.
3. Previous experience driving pivot steer FLT and HLOP FLT is preferred.
4. Strong mechanical knowledge for operating various warehouse equipment effectively.
5. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
6. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
