My client, a well-established civil engineering consultancy, is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to join their expert marine engineering team in London. The Role:
As a Principal Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for:
1. Leading the design and delivery of marine infrastructure projects from tender through to detailed design.
2. Managing client relationships, ensuring high-quality service and clear communication.
3. Driving business growth, collaborating with senior leadership to secure new projects and partnerships.
4. Providing technical expertise in the design and assessment of marine structures such as jetties, quays, wharves, and cofferdams.
5. Mentoring junior engineers, fostering talent, and ensuring high technical standards.
What You Bring:
1. BEng/MEng (Hons) in Civil or Structural Engineering (Chartered status preferred).
2. Extensive experience in marine structure design and assessment.
3. Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to mentor teams and deliver results.
4. Regulatory knowledge of CDM regulations and Quality Management Systems.
5. A solid understanding of geotechnical principles relating to marine infrastructure.
6. A proactive, client-focused approach with strong communication and collaboration skills.
