**Job Description**
Are you a Senior Cost Manager looking to work on building projects that can change the world? If so, we are looking for a Cost Manager to join our team in London. You will be joining a team of like-minded professionals who have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting-edge solutions.
**Job Responsibilities:**
1. Provide full suite of Cost Management duties to AECOM clients.
2. Support and lead Cost Management commissions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery.
3. Provide effective support and mentoring to Graduates and Apprentices.
4. Ensure commissions are managed and completed efficiently, on time and to the client’s satisfaction.
5. Develop strong reciprocal relationships with clients and members of the project team.
6. Be the primary interface with AECOM clients (new and existing).
7. Ensure all staff members reporting to you have current and relevant training.
8. Delivery of cost management outputs, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a consulting environment providing the full spectrum of CM services including Pre-Contract Estimating; Procurement; Contract Administration, Cost Reporting and Final Account resolution.
2. Proven ability to advise clients and design teams on cost, value and risk.
3. Excellent IT Skills and the ability to utilise digital measurement, cost planning and tender document tools.
4. Understanding of a variety of project types/sizes/sectors. Residential and/or Commercial/Mixed-Use sector experience would be advantageous.
5. Able to work under own initiative, working closely with the Senior Cost Managers and Associates.
Qualifications:
1. Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management.
2. Professionally Qualified – ideally Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS, CIOB or other equivalent institution.
