The Internal Audit team operates with a cross-office, collaborative approach, with approximately 70 professionals across Ireland and Northern Ireland, including around 10 team members based in Belfast. They support a diverse client base, evenly split between public and private sectors (non-financial services). Due to growth there is an opportunity to join this successful team. What you will do: Support the delivery of client projects, including internal audit, controls advisory, and assurance engagements, covering planning, fieldwork, and reporting stages. Work within a team to assist clients in developing or enhancing their Internal Control or SOX programs. Prepare high-quality planning and reporting documents for management review and client delivery. Present engagement results to senior team members, including Senior Consultants, Managers, and Directors. Enhance your own and the team's technical expertise by coaching, mentoring, and leading junior team members during engagements. Participate in business and practice development tasks, including tender responses and client proposals. About You: Proven experience in Internal Audit, SOX, and Control environments. Relevant degree required. Part-qualified or fully qualified in ACA, ACCA, CIIA, or equivalent, with a minimum of two years' field experience. Strong business acumen and the ability to provide effective client advisory. Experience working within high-performing teams and presenting findings to management. Proficiency in report writing, along with technical knowledge of industry standards, such as Internal Audit methodologies and SOX.
