We are recruiting for a HVAC Engineer About the Role: Join our team as an HVAC Engineer at CBRE, where you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing mechanical and electrical systems within complex commercial HVAC installations. Your role will involve conducting proactive performance testing and managing ongoing scheduled maintenance to ensure that all systems operate efficiently and in compliance with applicable regulations. This position is part of the Engineering and Technical Services team, dedicated to providing essential support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on critical equipment and systems. What You'll Do: Team Leadership: Assign tasks to team members and ensure all duties are completed efficiently and on schedule. System Installation and Maintenance: Install, repair, adjust, and maintain electric or pneumatic control systems used in building heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This includes calibrating related instruments, gauges, and control components. Ongoing Inspections: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with all relevant codes and safety regulations. Troubleshooting Expertise: Diagnose equipment failures and determine the best course of action for necessary modifications or repairs. Innovative Solutions: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of HVAC principles and procedures to tackle complex assignments and develop innovative solutions. Mentorship and Coaching: Share your expertise and knowledge with team members, fostering a collaborative environment and enhancing professional development. Physical Capability: Must meet the physical requirements of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
