As one of the largest Independent Connection Providers (ICPs) in the UK, we support distribution network operations across infrastructure.Our team installs and maintains distribution networks and ensures reliable connections for customers. carrying out electrical planned work, customer connections and network reinforcement.What will you be doing?Are you ready to be a part of our substation build team working UKPN's 11kV, 33kV & 132kV Distribution Network on projects in the East of England? Are you a Competent 11kV, 33kV or 132kV SAP with experience working on an established DNO Distribution Network?
?You'll be responsible for planning and undertaking system outages as per an agreed switching schedule and put people to work safely on the system. Your role will involve developing and implementing safety documentation, preparing switching schedules via PowerOn, and isolating and earthing high voltage apparatus. You'll issue Permits to Work, Sanctions for Test, and Limitation of Access documents, ensuring site progress adheres to UKPN Distribution Safety Rules.You'll attend client meetings, resolve operational issues, support project concept stages, mentor team members, assist in creating outage programmes, and ensure compliance with M Group procedures and legislation.
