Our client, are seeking a talented and proactive IT Support Engineer to join their dynamic team. This team plays a critical role in ensuring that the firm’s IT infrastructure runs smoothly, securely, and efficiently.
As their IT Support Engineer, you will provide top-notch technical support to end-users, ensuring the seamless operation of the firm’s IT systems. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, perform system maintenance, assist in managing network & server operations, and help ensure their systems are both effective and secure.
Key Responsibilities for the role of IT Support Engineer:
* Technical Support: Deliver first and second-line support for hardware, software, and peripherals.
* System Maintenance: Conduct routine updates, patches, and backups to ensure system performance.
* User Assistance: Provide training and support on IT resources and legal-specific applications.
* Network & Server Support: Assist in managing network issues and server administration tasks.
* Incident Management: Track and resolve support requests through their ticketing system.
* Project Support: Collaborate on IT projects, deploying new technologies and systems.
Qualifications & Experience for the role of IT Support Engineer:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* 1-2+ years of IT support experience, preferably within a law firm.
* Relevant certifications (MCP) are advantageous.
* Proficient in troubleshooting and supporting Windows/macOS
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication abilities.
* Customer-focused with a commitment to excellence and integrity.
* Valid UK driving license and reliable vehicle essential for travel between office locations.
