A vacancy has arisen in the Finance Business Partnering team - Education and Schools Finance Team for a Business Partner leading on Education High Needs.
The role will support the Head of Finance in the provision of high quality, flexible, professional finance support to service departments, focussing on SEND and high needs funding. Key duties include:
- Supporting effective revenue budget setting, monitoring and year end processes
- Providing technical support and expert advice to budget holders and officers to support decision making
- Pro-actively seeking opportunities to improve the financial support to the department and drive efficient and effective processes
- Improving the use, interpretation and analysis of data and business information in financial reporting, modelling and to support decision making
- Liaising with Council staff and schools to deal with and resolve queries
We’re looking for someone with excellent data interpretation and information analysis skills along with strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately. You will also have excellent IT and communication skills.

Enfield offers a hybrid working arrangement with an expectation that staff will be in the office at least one day every other week as a minimum.
- Staff will be expected to attend the office as required by the service.
