Are you ready to take on an impactful role as a Senior Cost Estimator, driving progress on some of the UK’s most significant energy transmission projects?
We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Senior Cost Estimator to join a high-performing team. You’ll be at the forefront of early optioneering activity, moderating technical specifications and pricing directly with clients, ensuring accurate cost analysis and value-driven decision-making.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Lead cost estimation sessions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders.
* Provide cost intelligence and support data-driven decision-making to optimise project outcomes.
* Engage directly with clients to moderate technical specifications and pricing during the early phases of project development.
* Develop and maintain robust cost estimates for energy transmission projects, particularly overhead lines.
* Prepare and deliver cost reports and analyses, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Cost Estimator within energy transmission or major infrastructure projects, including Civils, Oil & Gas, Offshore, or Renewables.
* Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to lead discussions and manage expectations effectively.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality outputs.
* Cost intelligence or data analytics experience is advantageous but not essential.
