About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Blackburn. In this role, you will:
* Provide tailored support to small groups of students, focusing on specific areas of learning.
* Work closely with teaching staff to develop and deliver engaging intervention sessions.
* Help students overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and achieve their potential.
* Support the school’s commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment for all.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience working with young people in an educational setting (preferred but not essential).
* A patient, adaptable, and supportive approach to learning.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* A commitment to the safeguarding and well-being of students.
