About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Blackburn. In this role, you will:
- Provide tailored support to small groups of students, focusing on specific areas of learning.
- Work closely with teaching staff to develop and deliver engaging intervention sessions.
- Help students overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and achieve their potential.
- Support the school's commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment for all.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with young people in an educational setting (preferred but not essential).
- A patient, adaptable, and supportive approach to learning.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A commitment to the safeguarding and well-being of students.
