The Role
Are you an experienced and social-savvy Assistant Producer with a passion for turning content into creative, impactful and innovative posts on our sought after social media platforms?
Using creative design film and video skills to produce fast-turnaround edits and short form video content, the successful candidate will be required to shoot and edit video content for our social media, ensuring to make the correct impact with young audiences, with video output largely revolving around short form and ultra-short-form mediums.
You'll need to live and breathe social media, constantly treading a fine line between informing and entertaining, so being required to recognise when to do both, while always maintaining our high editorial standards is essential, as well as knowing your memes, online references and your way around Adobe Creative suite, with Photoshop and Premier being the key tools.
You will be required to pitch your own ideas around stories and successfully tap into what our audience wants to consume, so a keen interest in Drama, especially EastEnders is very beneficial.
The successful candidate will need to be able to work quickly and under pressure, often moving from idea generation to final design in the space of an hour or two, with a requirement on occasion to work within a team on the larger digital commissions, such as EastEnders Revealed.

5. Experience in creating video output largely revolving around short form and ultra-short-form mediums
6. The ability to recognise when working in social media between informing and entertaining
