Job Purpose:
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will become the key stakeholder in the implementation of the NetSuite ERP software. Post-implementation, you will be a figurehead within the Group for the software and be responsible for the financial planning and analysis pillar of the finance department. Your skills will develop and enhance both the NetSuite product and the current reporting bundle, ensuring timely presentation of the monthly reports. You will also assist with the month-end process, system upgrades, and be responsible for data controls within NetSuite for the group of companies. You will play an integral part in the development, growth, and successful completion of the objectives of the Finance department.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Become a key partner in the development of the Group's financial planning and analysis, specifically looking at:
1. Systems development
2. Sales reporting
3. Gross Profit Margin
4. Stock management
5. Purchases
6. Rebates
7. Overhead analysis
2. Enhancing the group budgeting and forecasting framework
3. Assisting with the preparation of the consolidated management accounts for 12 companies
4. Provide variance analysis and commentary in support of the quarterly and monthly reports as directed
5. Identify new revenue opportunities or cost savings through variance analysis
6. Provide ad-hoc management reports as required
7. Be part of the ERP implementation team (NetSuite)
8. Take responsibility for the supplier rebate process
9. Challenge the posting accuracy of all transactions
10. Suggest and implement improvements in the current systems

Person Specification:
Accounting and Systems:
Must have extensive experience of using ERP implementations, including the transfer of data and system setup, particularly around product setup.
1. Minimum 5 years accounting experience in a busy, progressive, and tightly managed business, including monthly reporting, annual budget preparations, and financial modelling
2. Extensive experience of computerized accounting systems (preferably NetSuite)
3. Demonstrable experience of implementing new accounts systems
4. Highly proficient Microsoft Office user, particularly Excel
Analytical Skills:
Ability to 'think outside the box' and to assimilate data into meaningful financial information.
1. Ability to deliver objective, accurate, high-quality reports to deadlines
2. Strong spreadsheet manipulation skills and aptitude for Excel work
3. A meticulous and methodical approach
4. Accuracy and attention to detail are absolute requirements to be successful in this role

Qualifications:
CIMA or ACCA qualified or studying towards qualification.
