Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced ICT Business Partner to join our team on a 12-month contract in Thames Valley South. As an ICT Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in managing the relationship between ICT and key Force stakeholders, ensuring that ICT services align with business objectives and deliver maximum value.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage relationships with key stakeholders to align ICT services with Force objectives.
2. Identify and exploit opportunities for technology and ICT service solutions.
3. Ensure ICT systems and services meet business needs and deliver identified benefits.
4. Manage a portfolio of ICT customers to ensure services are fit for purpose and deliver best value.
5. Proactively manage Service Improvement Plans to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
6. Build strong relationships with senior officers and staff to facilitate collaboration and identify opportunities for technological innovation.
7. Negotiate and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs).
8. Validate and justify business ICT needs, conduct feasibility studies, and prepare business cases.
9. Work closely with the ICT Portfolio Management and change programs to support Force priorities.
10. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance across ICT functions.
Required Skills and Experience:
11. Proven experience in ICT management within a complex environment, ideally using ITIL frameworks.
12. Strong understanding of the IT environment and technical platforms relevant to the organisation.
13. Proficiency in business improvement techniques and service delivery economics.
14. Experience in developing business proposals and presenting them effectively.
15. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with a customer-focused approach.
16. Ability to influence and achieve significant outcomes through persuasion.
17. Willingness and ability to travel to various locations across the Force areas as required.
Additional Information:
18. The role requires a full UK driving license due to the need for flexible working hours and travel to various locations.
19. Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and ITIL best practices is highly desirable.
