You will collaborate with other teams, communicating effectively to ensure a safe, seamless integrated transfer of care for our patients, providing an integrated delivery of medicines to ensure cost effective, safe and safe and appropriate use of medicines. Main duties of the job We have posts available across the ward support service at St James and LGI, covering many different specialities. The post holder will provide a variety of duties across the multi-speciality wards, including ordering and receipt of medicines, stock management including returned medicines, labelling & dispensing, liaising with patients and other NHS staff, answering telephone queries and clerical duties. You will also help to support our main dispensary at peak times. There will be opportunities for further training to participate in counselling, for example, inhaler techniques and smoking cessation.
