Are you passionate about supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join schools in the Lincoln area, providing crucial support to students in SEMH settings.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in delivering tailored support for students with SEMH needs.
2. Provide one-to-one and group support, helping students manage their emotions and behaviour in a classroom setting.
3. Work closely with teachers to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and ensure a positive learning environment.
4. Promote student engagement, inclusion, and personal development.
5. Help maintain classroom routines and contribute to a safe, supportive atmosphere for all students.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience working within SEMH settings (essential).
2. Understanding of strategies for supporting students with emotional and behavioural challenges.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to behaviour management.
Details:
1. Location: Lincoln
2. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:30 (term-time only)
3. Pay: Starting at £90 per day, with potential for progression.
