Renewables Engineer Flexible across Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire Salary - £39,000 - £41,000per annum - depending on skills and experience. Contract type - Permanent Working hours - Full Time About the role You need to ensure properties containing renewable heating technology are serviced, maintained and repaired to a high standard. The post holder will be responsible for carrying out servicing, testing, maintenance and repairs efficiently and economically in accordance with current industry best working practices and manufacturer`s instructions, along with all related health and safety legislation. The post holder may be required to carry out surveys & measurements as directed. You will report to the Operations Manager and take the primary lead with all servicing and repairs associated with heat pump equipment and hot water distribution systems in residential properties. You will need to maintain solar hot water systems for both planned preventative services and reactive repairs. About you You will need the following: Experience Essential - BPEC Heat pump certification, NVQ level 3 or similar Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Air Source Heat Pumps (Non-refrigerant Circuits) Unvented G3 Solar thermal WRAS -Water regulations You must be up to date with industry regulations and requirements. You need to have experience with fault finding on air/ground source heat pumps. You need experience working in heat pump (ASHP) fault-finding, service and repair practical experience (2 years). You will need to be able to diagnose faults and rectify in a prompt and appropriate manner. You must be experience in electrical fault finding and component testing with demonstratable diagnostic skills. You need to ensure the safe and proper use of all mechanical and non-mechanical plant and equipment under their direct control. You must be able to set out jobs from drawings and specifications and requisition the necessary installations materials.
