Location: Salford - This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working.
Salary: £42,300 - £56,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

Part of the Change and Transformation team, this role will play a pivotal part in supporting Children in Need to deliver our five year strategy. You will be working on the exciting, high profile change and transformation activities that move us closer to our Charitable ambition. You will be in the thick of things, helping to develop strategic plans, supporting delivery and landing change. The role will work with teams from across the Charity, including working with the executive team. Bringing people together and stakeholder management are key parts of the role, as well as being able to effectively challenge and ensure all activity is aligned to our strategic priorities.
This is a six months fixed term role reporting into the Director of Change and Transformation.
Main Responsibilities
* Support change and transformation projects and activities across the charity. This includes but is not limited to:
o Coaching activity leads to have clear vision, objectives and KPIs
o Creating and managing project and change plans
o Ensuring that all relevant stakeholders are engaged
o Identifying and managing risks, issues and dependencies
o Running workshops to identify opportunities, solutions and processes
* Reporting on the transformation portfolio
* Supporting strategic planning and decision making
* Building change culture and capability across the Charity
* Providing and curating opportunities for innovation and engagement with the strategy
Are you the right Candidate?
* Strong project management and organisational skills, and an awareness of the project/programme context and discipline. Fully proficient at planning, risk and dependency management.
* Experience managing, implementing, facilitating, and monitoring change on transformational change programmes.
* Sound knowledge of the principles and concepts that underpin change management and can advise on a good practice approach to business change.
* Able to cut through complexity to define problems, evaluate new concepts, identify recommendations and solutions.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication; experience in stakeholder management on complex/sensitive programmes; has credibility and impact with peers and leaders; able to gain buy-in to enable change to happen through others.
Desired:
* Able to identify both the overt and covert culture of the organisation and its influence on the change.
* Works well under pressure, with complexity and ambiguity, and can flex to changes in business focus.
