We provide support to a particular client that we are specifically recruiting for, who has a brain injury. He has a PEG in situ which is a feeding tube that you will be specifically trained to use. Our client is none verbal, so it is vital that you can use your initiative in communicating with him on different levels using alternative communication techniques, a crucial skill for any support worker. We are supporting this client throughout the night, we are looking for people who are able to cover waking and sleeping night shifts from 7pm – 9am the next day. Due to our client’s needs and preferences we are recruiting for female Support Workers who also own a UK driving license and a vehicle. Key Responsibilities for a Support Worker role: As a Night Support Worker you will be a pivotal part of supporting your specific clients with achieving their personal goals and supporting them to be safe throughout the night shifts, on a one to one or two to one basis. Your role will be supporting your regular client to undertake daily living activities such as personal care, nutrition & hydration needs, moving & handling and enabling them to achieve their personal goals while being a dependable support worker.
