Job Description
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and delivering world-class customer experiences. This includes:
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Performance and Delivery:
o To meet a minimum of 90 mins sales talk time per day.
o Provide a high level of robust, thorough, and reliable account management of your existing client base.
o Upselling existing clients by adding sponsorship packages as well as cross-selling into all relevant events in the portfolio.
o Achieving and exceeding individual monthly team & individual sales targets set and agreed with the Group Head of Sales.
o Reporting all weekly individual sales progress and submitting a weekly and monthly revenue pledge to the team.
o Keep client management system accurately up to date with individual new sales leads, pipeline, and sales contracts.
o Develop and deliver accurate sales updates from the CRM system for their own accounts, both ad-hoc and in weekly sales meetings.
2. Strategy and Product Development:
o Analysing the competitive landscape to bring new revenue-generating options.
o Identifying areas for new business growth and clearly articulating the value.
o Taking the lead on specific projects as part of new event feature development to ensure project milestones are met.
3. Financial Management and Reporting:
o Maintaining accurate records of sales process activity in our CRM system to enable accurate reporting.
o Assessing, monitoring, and improving sales efficiency and results by conducting regular analysis of KPIs.
