Monday, 8.30am - 4.30pm. Tuesday, 8.30am - 4.30pm during the first term, then 8.30am - 3.15pm. Wednesday, 8.30am - 3.15pm. Thursday, 8.30am - 4.30pm. Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm. Total of 36.25 hours in first term, then 35 hours.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
* Maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment, in accordance with lesson plans and assist with the display of pupils’ work
* Use given strategies, in liaison with the teacher and under there guidance, to support pupils to achieve their outcomes
* Supporting the care needs and well-being of pupils throughout the school day
* Assist with the planning of learning opportunities
* Monitor pupils’ responses to learning opportunities and accurately record achievement/progress as directed
* Provide detailed and regular feedback to teachers on pupils, progress, barriers to learning, emotional regulation etc.
* Promote positive values, attitudes and good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with behaviours that challenge in line with established policy and encourage/promote reflective practice at all times
* Establish constructive relationships with parents/carers
* Provide clerical/administrative support e.g. photocopying, typing, filing, money, administer coursework etc.
