About You This role is for 37 hours per week, working 39 weeks per year (term time plus staff development days). The role of a teaching assistant in the Academy is vital in helping students improve their literacy and numeracy skills and to ensure compliance with the SEN Code of Practice. You will have a genuine passion and belief in the potential of every pupil and be able to relate to young people and adults within the learning environment and be versatile, resilient and able to adapt your practice wherever necessary to support across all key stages.
