Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons that align with the national curriculum. Introduce students to key business concepts such as entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, economics, and business ethics. Use real-world case studies and interactive teaching methods to bring business theory to life. Assess student progress through assignments, presentations, and exams, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey. Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills to prepare students for future careers in business and enterprise. Maintain high expectations for student behaviour and academic performance, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment. Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Business and Economics department to enhance curriculum delivery. Engage with parents and carers to support student progress and aspirations. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. A degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field. Experience teaching Business Studies at KS3 and KS4 (experience at KS5 is desirable but not essential). Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students. A passion for business education and a commitment to helping students develop real-world skills.
