We are recruiting a Teaching, Learning and Student Experience Assistant to support Fitness to Practise activities and assist the Assessment & Progression Team across several Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught programmes within the School of Medical Sciences. The role is available with an immediate start. The post holder will be expected to provide a high level of customer service to deliver excellent service provision placing the student experience at the heart of what we, do working flexibly both alone and as part of a team, across organisational boundaries. You will be a point of contact for staff, both internal and external, key contacts within the School, Faculty and central University administration. This is a varied and dynamic role, split between Fitness to Practise activities and duties within the Assessment & Progression Team.
The ideal candidate will have proven administrative experience in a busy environment, excellent communication skills and work positively and respectfully with a range of students and colleagues from diverse backgrounds. They will have a flexible approach to work and the ability to work proficiently with a range of MS 365 applications. Knowledge of Campus Solutions is desirable. There is a requirement to have a proactive approach to your workload in this role.
About the School of Medical Sciences
The School of Medical Sciences is home to a 5-year Undergraduate Medical Programme (MBCHB), 2 Undergraduate Dentistry Programmes, a Physicians Associates Programme, a portfolio of around 27 PGT programmes, and international activity across many of these programmes.
