Due to internal promotion, we are recruiting for a receptionist/administrator to provide professional reception support in our schools to parents, visitors, staff, and pupils. We need someone to complement our existing team to provide a positive welcome as well as administrative support including preparation and distribution of correspondence, updating internal systems, and sending messages. This will require a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and building a good understanding of internal systems and processes.
Our Receptionists need to be able to deal with telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries, resolving or answering queries where possible or referring them to appropriate members of staff when required. You would be fully supported to learn and develop your knowledge of school processes and systems, and although previous experience of a similar type of work would be beneficial, it is not essential.
If you have the ability to manage several tasks and priorities at once, and can work well under pressure while maintaining a professional and positive outlook, then we would like to hear from you.
Previous experience of purchasing administration including ordering and dealing with queries would be of benefit. First Aid qualifications would also be beneficial but are not essential.
