If so, we want to hear from you About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Children's Mentor to join a school in Radcliffe, Bury. The successful candidate will work closely with students who may have SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs or behavioural challenges, providing 1:1 and group support to help them manage their behaviour and engage positively in their education. This is a full time role, Monday to Friday 8:30 -3:30pm. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored behavioural support to students in line with their individual needs. Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and parents to develop strategies that promote positive behaviour and academic engagement. Implement de-escalation techniques and behaviour management strategies to support students in crisis. Build positive relationships with students, acting as a role model and mentor to encourage personal growth. Requirements: Previous experience working with students who display challenging behaviour, SEMH, or SEN. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport with students and work as part of a team. Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills. A proactive, patient, and resilient attitude.
