Overview
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Third Party Claims Handler to join our team! As a Third Party Claims Handler, you’ll be responsible for managing the entire Third Party Damage repair process, from initial instruction to the completion of vehicle repairs. How you'll make an impact Review and record claims on our in-house system, ensuring compliance with product standards Helping to process insurance claims, including reviewing documentation, assessing coverage, and determining claim validity (whether the claim will be paid or not). Clearly communicate decisions on liability and negotiate settlements within your authority level Respond to written and phone enquiries promptly and courteously Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all claims and related activities Negotiate settlements for all Third Party claims-related costs, excluding Personal Injury About You Ability to explain complex language in simple terms, either in writing and/or over the phone Attention to detail to accurately review and assess claim documentation Experience in handling FNOL (First Notification of Loss) Experience with motor claims handling Problem-solving and analytical skills to evaluate whether a claim should be paid or not Empathy and the ability to remain calm and composed when dealing with customers who may be in stressful situations Customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers throughout their claims process Computer literate GCSEs, or equivalent including English and Maths Eligible to work in the UK #LI-CB2 Compensation and benefits On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
