Proficiency in editing programs (Adobe Premier Pro) or live streaming platforms such as OBS. Knowledge of esports event production and tournament organisation. Experience with career guidance and employability skills related to e-sports. Key Tasks Deliver and assess Level 3 Esports qualifications, ensuring lessons are engaging and industry-relevant. Develop course materials, lesson plans, and practical sessions that align with the curriculum. Support students with both theoretical and practical aspects of esports, including game strategy, event management, and team development. Provide mentorship and guidance to students, helping them develop teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Stay up to date with industry trends, ensuring students receive current and relevant knowledge. Organise and oversee esports competitions, both within the institution and externally. Collaborate with other educators and industry professionals to enhance the curriculum. Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback to help them achieve their full potential. Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students. Essential Qualities A Level 3 teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one). Proven experience in the esports industry (competitive gaming, event organisation, coaching, or analysis). Strong knowledge of popular esports titles (e.g., League of Legends, Valorant, CS:GO, Rocket League, etc.). Experience in lesson planning, assessment, and curriculum development. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. Essential Qualifications Maths and English GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent (Level 2). Degree/relevant qualification in the subject area (e-sports, game design, sports coaching, marketing, events management or a related field). Salary and Days of Work 21 hours across 3 days a week for 52 weeks per year. Pro rata of 35 days of annual leave plus UK bank holidays. This is a permanent part-time position. Start Date ASAP.
