We are looking for an experienced, forward-thinking Physiotherapist to join our Hospital at Home therapy team here in Herefordshire.
You will be working as part of an experienced, multi-disciplinary and multi-agency team alongside other Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Therapy Support Workers.
This is a countywide service; therefore, holding a full driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
This post is 22.5 hours - fixed-term cover for maternity leave.
Main duties of the job
As an integral part of the team, the post holder will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the delivery of physiotherapy in the team. You will be part of the therapy resource providing an urgent care response, as well as supporting discharge from A&E. Providing assessment, support planning, and interventions to meet the person's needs in the community ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
As a service, we are innovative, forward-thinking, and encourage staff engagement. You will have the opportunity to be involved in service/quality improvement and develop leadership skills as well as supervising rotational Physiotherapists, Therapy assistants, and engaging in student placement education.

* Professional Qualification to degree level or equivalent in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy
* HCPC registered
* Post Graduate specialist qualification/significant post graduate experience
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

* Broad and specialist knowledge of relevant patient conditions and therapy interventions
* Demonstration of knowledge of core and specialist Therapy skills
* Evidence of ongoing CPD in relevant area
* Experience of multi-disciplinary communication, assessments, and record keeping
