Experience/Attributes required
* Broad understanding of employment law principles and comprehensive experience in all aspects of employment law.
* Experience in Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal litigation.
* Support for corporate transactions involving employment law, due diligence, TUPE, warranties, and indemnities.
* Excellent drafting, legal analysis, communication skills, and employment law knowledge.
* Willingness to engage in marketing and business development activities.
* Ability to apply law with commercial awareness and advise clients confidently.
* Experience in training seminars and workshops is a plus.
* Capability to handle high-profile cases independently and lead junior staff.
* Strong client relationship management skills.
* Proactive in promoting team services and identifying sales opportunities.
* Stay updated with relevant literature and industry news.
* Maintain accurate file management and administrative tasks.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Flexibility to work beyond normal hours when necessary.
Work responsibilities include
* Providing HR support to employer clients daily.
* Guiding clients through disciplinary and internal proceedings.
* Handling TUPE issues in transactions and outsourcing.
* Managing employment terminations, settlement agreements, and related tax implications.
* Litigating unfair, wrongful dismissal, and discrimination claims.
* Conducting seminars and workshops for clients.
* Potential exposure to immigration and data protection issues.
* Advocacy before tribunals and courts.
