Ryder Cup Content Manager – (FTC) Location – Virginia Water, Surrey 1-2 days per week in the office (Flexible) FTC until End of 2025 Are you passionate about golf and social media? The European Tour group is one of the world’s pre-eminent golf organisations. We are responsible for running the world-famous DP World Tour, Legends Tour, Challenge Tour and G4D Tour (golf for the disabled). We also organise, alongside the PGA of America, golf’s greatest team contest - the Ryder Cup. The Ryder Cup is looking for a dynamic Content Manager to create inspiring and compelling content across our social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube. You'll also contribute to editorial content on rydercup.com. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities In this role, you'll work closely with the Senior Ryder Cup Content Manager to deliver best-in-class content that maximises reach, engagement, and monetisation. You'll drive the Ryder Cup content plan and strategy, generating innovative and on-trend content that showcases the skills and personalities of our players. Collaboration with the PGA of America is essential to deliver content for Ryder Cup agnostic channels. Your key responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day running of Ryder Cup Europe social media channels, assisting with content creation for rydercup.com, plus planning and producing as needed. You'll generate innovative and entertaining ideas to engage our new and existing audiences, showcase our players' skills and personalities, and work closely with our U.S. counterparts at the PGA of America to ensure consistent messaging globally. You'll also work with the communications and marketing teams and other stakeholders to ensure our brand values are consistently represented, liaise with live broadcast teams on editorial storylines and initiatives, and monitor content performance to ensure maximum reach, engagement, and monetisation across all platforms. Additionally, you'll assist the DP World Tour Content Team when appropriate and be prepared to work weekends and irregular hours, with travel required at times. Knowledge & Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you should have a strong knowledge of social media platforms and expertise in using them, be passionate and highly knowledgeable about golf, and possess excellent written English and communication skills with high attention to detail. Creativity and the ability to think outside the box are essential, as is the confidence to constructively challenge and change. You should demonstrate a collaborative and consultative working style and have key skills in video editing within Adobe Premiere Pro, as well as basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop. Comfort working within various Content Management Systems is also important. This role will involved travel to events and also support and communication with partners and colleagues outside of the standard 9-5 hours.
