Homecare Manager – full time job vacancy
About the job
Enfield Carers Centre are looking for a full time Homecare Manager.
Our current manager is moving on after 4 years, so we need a replacement to manage our Homecare Team which comprises two Care Coordinators and approximately 38 Care Support Workers.
The role is to oversee the day-to-day running of our Domiciliary/Homecare Services (including domestic services), ensuring all clients receive high-quality care services in line with CQC standards and that our CQC registration of Good is maintained or exceeded.
Who Should Apply?
The successful candidate:
* will already have a proven track record of managing a CQC registered provision in an organisation rated Good or Excellent
* will have extensive experience of managing staff and will be qualified to NVQ4/QCF level 5 (or equivalent acceptable qualification)
* must be highly organised, have excellent interpersonal skills, and have the drive, enthusiasm and commitment to expand and develop a quality service
* must have report writing & excellent communication skills
* will need knowledge of carer & disability-related legislation
* will need excellent IT and organisational skills; commitment to equal opportunities
* will have an awareness of issues affecting a multi-cultural community
* will understand relationships between the Council, Health Authority and the voluntary sector as well as a commitment to the needs of carers.
* will be an approachable, professional, flexible individual who can deal tactfully and sensitively with others, manage a demanding workload, and be an asset to our Senior Management team
* will be joining our Middle Management Team and expected to build relationships and demonstrate that you are an active team player.

Hours & Pay
Hours: 35 hours per week
Working days are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Occasional evening and weekend working is included for which Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) will be given.
Out-of-hours ‘On Call’ function is shared with the Care Coordinators.
Holiday: 25 days and Bank Holidays, per annum
Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 per annum (dependent upon experience and performance)
