Student Achievement Tutor
Location: Bromley
Salary: £28,000 - £29,000 per year (Temporary contract)
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Student Achievement Tutor to join our team on a full-time basis. The role involves providing academic support to students, focusing on improving their performance and achievement. This is a temporary position, offering a competitive salary and the chance to make a significant impact on student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and group support to students, focusing on improving their academic performance and engagement.
Monitor and track students' progress, setting achievable goals and offering tailored support.
Assist in the development and delivery of personalised learning plans and interventions.
Provide guidance and support to students on time management, study skills, and exam preparation.
Collaborate with academic staff and other support services to ensure students receive holistic support.
Assist in the implementation of academic strategies to help students overcome challenges and achieve their potential.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement, ensuring all data is kept up to date.
Provide pastoral support, offering advice and guidance on personal and academic matters as needed.
Contribute to the wider student development initiatives and activities within the institution.Requirements:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in supporting students in an educational setting.
Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their goals.
Knowledge of educational strategies to support student learning and achievement.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ideally, experience in working with students with diverse learning needs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
MUST HAVE A DBSDesirable Qualifications/Experience:
Previous experience in a student support or tutoring role.
Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.
Knowledge of student achievement tracking systems.
