ROLE
Brand new role. The company is growing with ever-increasing production output, and a new line of leadership in the production department is being created.
No of direct reports: Production Supervisors and Team Leaders on the shop floor areas.
Reporting to: Head of Operations
KEY AREAS COVERED:
1. Monitor and report on area effectiveness, stock levels, yield, waste and labour.
2. Champion a culture of continuous improvement, applying industry best practice.
3. Apply root cause analysis to resolve issues quickly and prevent repeat occurrences.
4. Lead training initiatives to ensure all employees are up to date with the latest health & safety regulations.
5. Ensure strict adherence to food safety standards, including hygiene protocols.
CANDIDATE
You will have a proven track record in a Production Management or Supervisor role within the Food Manufacturing sector. You may come from any food background; more important is your experience maintaining hygiene, food safety and Good Manufacturing Practice standards as well as exposure to BRCGS standards (Site operates currently at BRC A+). Above all, you will be a strong leader who can demonstrate CI on your CV e.g., yield improvements, labour management. The successful candidate would be working for a family company that is forward-thinking and willing to invest in the business to ensure it grows and is here for many years to come.
WORKING HOURS: MON-FRI Days based
