Cormac are recruiting for a Resource Manager who can lead our team to success by ensuring the optimal allocation of people, tools, and time. You will lead and manage the central Programme and Resource Office within the central Planning, Systems and Business Processes division. Lead and oversee the master programme, scheduling and resource allocation for all of the divisions within CORMAC Solutions, including labour, materials, plant and fleet and contractors. About the role The role will provide and manage the coordination of the Traffic Management (TMA) team and the central planning and coordination of operational training. The post holder will manage the central pool of resources located within the various divisions to maximise both the productivity and efficiency, including the company’s distribution centre. To monitor all works through a range of project and management plans maximising the financial return and on time delivery. Working closely with the Directors, Divisional Heads, Senior and Operational Managers to coordinate works plans, determine the resources required by project/scheme and to manage, monitor and disseminate progress reports. Some of the duties for this role will include: Leading and controling the coordination of the CORMAC Master Overview Programme of all works, projects and other undertakings where a supported resource is required. Planning the utilisation of the company resources to maximise profitability. Overseeing the production and maintenance of the company’s Strategic workforce plan. Providing programming advice and guidance to CORMAC Divisional Heads and Business leads within the CORSERV Company. Ensuring the companies resources are optimised across the business, including forecast reports on required resources for live and future pipeline projects and schemes. The overview and management of Resource Allocation Scheduling and Planning for all works across CORMAC Solutions. To be the central and lead reporting manager for the highway and maintenance TSC contract KPI’s in the context of the role and responsibilities. About you We are looking for you to bring: Degree / HNC in a Construction related discipline or other appropriate subject and/or significant experience in a senior construction related background. Proven experience of Civil Engineering and/or Construction programming. Membership of a construction related professional body or eligibility to achieve. CSCS Card holder. Demonstrates experience and detailed knowledge of Health & safety requirements in a construction related environment. Analytical and imaginative approach to identifying process improvements.
